It’s an unexpectedly moving sight: the lighting of a giant Christmas tree made of
lobster traps. The tree is decorated with buoys in memory of fishermen lost at sea. This unique Christmas celebration doubles as the kick off to the local lobster season. There’s also a parade of lights, house tours, fireworks and of course, a visit from Santa. Information: 902-267-2903 or barringtonmunicipality
