6 large, firm apples
3 tablespoons (45 mL) granulated sugar
3/4 teaspoon (3 mL) ground cinnamon
Grated rind of 2 lemons
Wash apples but do not peel. Slice off ends. Cut in half crosswise, and remove cores. Brush both sides of apple with oil; grill on one side for 2 minutes. Turn slices over, sprinkle with combined sugar, cinnamon and lemon rind, and grill 2 to 3 minutes longer. Makes 12 apple slices.
