1 pkg (12oz/340 g) fresh cranberries
¾ cup (178 mL) sugar
1 cup (250 mL) water
1 orange, juiced and zested
1 cinnamon stick
½ tsp (2.5 mL) five spice powder


Combine all ingredients in a saucepan and cook over medium low heat, stirring occasionally, until thick and sauce-like. Remove cinnamon stick. Refrigerate or serve warm!
