1 cup (250 mL) ketchup
¼ cup (65 mL) brown sugar
¼ cup (65 mL) red wine vinegar
½ cup (125 mL) molasses
1 tsp (5 mL) hickory liquid smoke
1 ½ tsp (7 mL) butter
¹/8 tsp (.5 mL) garlic powder
¹/8 tsp (.5 mL) onion powder
¼ (1 mL) tsp paprika
¹/8 tsp (.5 mL) celery salt
¼ tsp (1 mL) sea salt
¼ tsp (1 mL) black pepper

36 plump chicken wing pieces


Combine all ingredients except wings in a medium size pot and bring to a simmer. Let simmer for 5 minutes or so, stirring occasionally.

Place chicken wing pieces on a baking sheet with parchment paper; sprinkle with your favourite chicken spices and bake in a pre-heated 350°F oven for 20 to 25 minutes. Place in a bowl, toss with the sauce and serve.
