In a medium bowl, mix ground beef, onion, steak spice and parsley together, form four patties and let rest. When you are ready to cook, roll the burger in a little bit of flour, covering all sides, and grill for about 3 to 4 minutes on each side. Resist the urge to press down on the burger. Serve on your favourite bun; on bottom bun place ketchup, mustard, relish, spinach and tomato before adding the burger. Top with buttery onions (recipe below), sliced sweet pickle and bacon, finishing with smoked cheddar cheese and fried egg.
I like to serve this burger with a great local craft beer and fresh cut fries. Cheers!
In a medium-sized microwaveable bowl, add onions and top with butter, cover with plastic wrap and place in the microwave on high for 1 minute, stir and place back in the microwave for 1 more minute, until onions are translucent and buttery; let rest until ready to use.
