Q: How often is Saltscapes published?

Saltscapes is published 7 times per year. Six regular issues and an annual Food & Travel Guide. Also included in your subscription are the specialty publications - Good Taste, and Living Healthy in Atlantic Canada.

Q: When do the issues come out?

The issues are scheduled to mail on the following dates (actual mailing dates may vary by a few days):

  • February/March - late January
  • April/May - late March
  • Food & Travel Guide - May
  • June/July - late May
  • August/September - late July
  • October/November - late September
  • December/January - late November and a second to Holiday Gifts late December

Q: How long does it take to get my issue through the mail?

Good question! Here are Canada Post's delivery guidelines

Delivery standards are estimates of how long it will take your mail to be delivered. Delivery standards are not guaranteed by Canada Post but are generally:

Local (within Halifax regional Municipality)

3 business days

Within Nova Scotia

4-5 business days

Across Canada

4-13 business days

USA and international subscribers, yours takes longer to deliver - thank you for your patience.

HINT: Make sure we have your email address and we will send you the digital edition as part of your subscription. That way, you can begin reading while waiting for your print copy to arrive in the mail.

Q: Can I convert my print subscription to a digital subscription?

Yes! Send us an email and we will beam the remaining issues of your print subscription over to your phone/tablet/pad/computer thingy.
