Ingredients

  • ½ cup (125 mL) cherry tomatoes, diced
  • ½ cup (125 mL) red onions, diced
  • ¼ cup (50 mL) cucumber, diced
  • ¼ cup (50 mL) yellow pepper, diced
  • 2 sprigs cilantro or Italian parsley
  • 2 tbsp (30 mL) olive oil
  • 1 tbsp (15 mL) maple syrup
  • 1 tsp (5 mL) coarse sea salt
  • few turns of the pepper mill
  • 2 limes, juice only

Preparation

While the burgers are cooking, mix all salsa ingredients together. This may also be made ahead and kept refrigerated until needed.
