Ingredients

  • 1 cup (250 mL) water
  • 1 cup (250 mL) white sugar
  • 4 large peaches, sliced
  • 1 12 oz (355 mL) can lemonade concentrate
  • 6 cups (1.5 L) water
  • Peach slices, for garnish

Preparation

To make peach syrup, place 1 cup water, sugar and sliced peaches into a medium saucepan; heat on medium-high for 4 to 5 minutes, or until the sugar dissolves. Lower heat and simmer for 30 minutes to allow the peach flavour to infuse the syrup. Cool and purée. Makes 2 cups.

Combine the lemonade concentrate with remaining water and stir in peach purée; add ice and serve. Makes 6-8 servings.
