Ingredients
- 2 tbsp (30 mL) butter
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- ½ cup (125 mL) celery, chopped
- 1 apple, chopped
- 4 tsp (20 mL) curry powder
- 2 cups (500 mL) cooked chicken, cubed
- 1⁄3 cup (75 mL) raisins
- 2 tbsp (30 mL) flour
- 1½ cups (375 mL) chicken broth
Preparation
Melt butter. Sauté onion, garlic and celery for 3 minutes, then stir in apple, curry powder, chicken and raisins, and sauté another 3 minutes. Stir in flour, add broth and stir until thickened.
Serve over puff pastry shells or steamed rice.
Serves 2 – 4.
