Readers of Saltscapes and visitors to our spring Expo and fall Harvest greets the Holidays shows need no real introduction to our food editor, the Kilted Chef Alain Bossé. Alain took the torch passed to him by our founding food editor, the late Marie Nightingale, and has continued to bring his love for great local foods to our readers across the region and beyond. He’s a great advocate for local food, bringing his enthusiasm for seafood, fresh produce and more to our region, our country, and to conventions and other events around the world.
Believing great food recipes are to be shared, the same as with great food, Alain is the author of two terrific cookbooks: Mussels, with Linda Duncan, and the recently-released The Acadian Kitchen. Both cookbooks have been signed by the author.
