
Cheese Spread Treasure
Ingredients
¾ cup (175 mL) white sugar
1/3 cup (75 mL) butter
3 tbsp (45 mL) flour
3 eggs
3 tsp (15 mL) dry mustard
1 tsp (5 mL) salt
1 tub Imperial Sharp Cheese
1 small bottle pimento olives, chopped
½ cup (125 mL) milk
¼ cup (50 mL) vinegar
Beat 3 eggs in separate bowl.
In double boiler, combine first 7 ingredients, stirring frequently, until smooth. Cool for few minutes. Then add chopped pimento olives, milk and vinegar.
Cook in double boiler on low heat until and smooth, stirring constantly. Put in jars to cool
and refrigerate
